Why do you find it strange when you hear your voice on a recording

Your voice sounds somehow different for you and for the world,so it seemed strange to you when you heard it for the first time on record. In short, the explanation is:we hear our own voices with the inner ear, middle ear and the external ear and disorientation comes when we hear the voice only external.

In the middle ear are three little bones:hammer, anvil, stirrup(remember from biology?).And is bounded out of the tympanic membrane.Tympanic membrane vibrations are transmitted first to the hammer, anvil and stirrup then and there at the oval window, located at the limit between the middle ear and internal. The sound reaching the inner ear is transmitted through the skull, what makes you think that your voice is lower than other people.
Some of us can not bear to hear the voice on the recording primarily because it seems too strange and secondly because we refuse to associate ourselves.Obviously in this category do not belong…singers.
But that’s OK!The good news is that only you know how your voice sounds to you 🙂
