DO you have old sweaters? I have some stacked in the back of my closet. You know the ones, stretched out, pilled up, and stained. Well, go grab them and let’s make some sweet Christmas stockings for next to nothing!
This is the sweater I started with. I just cut out a stocking shape, with the sweater zipped so it had a front and back.

No, I didn’t measure or use a template or anything because I am impatient like that and then when the finished product is wonky, I just call it “rustic”. If you are more precise, you can always draw or print out a template on a large piece of paper and trace it onto the sweater.Easy and Cute Eco-Friendly Christmas Stockings
