Beeswax Travel Candles

I’m not a summer girl, you won’t find me sun bathing in the backyard when the temps start going up – you will find me huddling by a fan with the A/C turned down low… and summer is right around the corner! I made some travel beeswax candles to take along during your travels this summer!

  • Mini tart pans (if you’re lucky enough to have some vintage ones sitting around you can use those)
  • Beeswax pastilles
  • Wicks
  • Washi tape

I used the tiniest tart pans that came in the box which take approximately 2 tablespoons of melted beeswax per pan – I melted a couple cups of pastilles since I make these often and I just store the extra wax in a jar. Set your wick in the tart pan and trim some of it off so it doesn’t fall over and make a jig with the washi tape so it will stay in the middle of the pan.

Beeswax Travel CandlesWhen your wax in completely melted VERY carefully pour the wax into the tart pan (it is extremely easy to overfill these pans so take your time so you don’t have to clean the wax up off the outside of the pans). Allow your mini candles to set and cool and trim the wicks to 1/4″.

Beeswax Travel Candles Take these along on your next trip, or if you’re inpatient like me enjoy now!
