All of us sometimes have trouble with earwax buildup, but how can we remove it without harming to our ears? Well, we have gathered for you some tips that will help you get rid of the problems effectively and without any side-effects.
•a quarter of teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate
•2 teaspoons of water
Dissolve the sodium bicarbonate in the water and drop several times into the ear. Do the procedure while you are laying down with the affected ear up. Then stay in this way for 5-10 minutes more. After this, sit down and with a syringe flush some warm water into your ear. The sodium bicarbonate has the property to soften the earwax and then the small pressure of water helps it to come out.
2. Water with Salt
•1 teaspoon of sea salt
•a half of glass of warm water
•syringe / cotton ball
Mix the salt in the water until it is entirely dissolved. Soak the cotton ball into the salty water, or fill the syringe and put 4-5 drops in the ear. Lay down with the ear directed upwards for 3-5 minutes, then lay down on a towel with the affected ear down and let the water with the wax drain.
3. Olive Oil
•one half of olive oil teaspoon
•dropper / syringe
Add 2-3 drops of olive oil in the troubled ear and lie down with the ear upwards for 10 minutes. If you dropped some oil on your outer ear, take a cotton ball and carefully remove it. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times per day for 3-5 days for a better result. If you want, you can wash out the wax with a syringe with warm water.
4. Hydrogen Peroxide
•1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide
•1 teaspoon of water
•dropper / syringe
The procedure is similar to that with salt water. The only thing, I would recommend you to let the solution stay in the ear for 10 minutes.
5. Vinegar and Rubbing Alcohol
•1 teaspoon of vinegar
•a half of teaspoon of rubbing alcohol
Combine the ingredients and drop 1-2 drops of solution with a syringe into the ear and leave it to act for 5 minutes, then flush the earwax with warm water and lie with your ear facing downwards.
Pour 1-3 drops of glycerin into the ear with wax buildup and lie down with the ear upwards for 3 minutes. Then for about one hour do you daily activities. After one hour, flush some warm water into the ear to wash out the impurities.
7. Warm Water
If you are afraid or not confident about the upper described remedies, you can use for this purpose warm plain water. Pour some water into your ear and let it stay there for about 10 minutes, then flush with warm water. As you decided not to use any ingredient that will help the earwax break down easier, better repeat the procedure three times in one hour.
