5 Natural Solutions against Yellow Sweat Stains

Sweat usually leaves yellow marks which are especially observed on clothes of light colors that create us lots of problems while trying to remove them. Fortunately, it becomes an easier task if we use natural solutions! Check out the following tips which will help you get rid of sweat stains and prevent their appearance.

Stain remover with hydrogen peroxide:
Combine in a proportion of 1:1 cold water and hydrogen peroxide. Apply this mixture on the sweat stains from your shirt, for example, and leave it to act for about 30 minutes. After this, rinse the shirt in cold water and wash it as you do it as a rule.

Sodium bicarbonate solution:
Add some baking soda to the upper described remover and rub the new combination into the underarm stain. After a half of hour rinse the cloth in cold water and wash it as usually.

Stain remover with aspirin:
Dissolve in ½ cup of warm water 3 aspirin tablets. Apply the solution on the stains and let it produce miracles for two hours. After this, wash your clothes.

Lemon juice as stain remover:
Fresh lemon juice is another efficient underarm stain remover. Just spray or squeeze some juice on the stained area, leave it for several minutes and wash as normal.

Vinegar stain remover:
Use a combination of one tablespoon of white vinegar and ½ cup of water. It acts as natural bleach, but it is absolutely not so harsh as bleach. Apply the solution on stains and leave it for 20-35 minutes. When you observed that the stains disappeared, throw your clothes in the washing machine and wash as usually.

Be careful! Better test all the methods before applying them on clothes! Read the labels on clothes if you are not sure whether you proceed correctly.

You can prevent the appearance of sweat stains by:

  • Using deodorant and antiperspirant for not excessively sweating.
  • Applying disposable pads on armpits to prevent sweating and underarm stains.
  • Sprinkling baby powder under arms to absorb sweat.

However, if you sweat too much, or if it seems to you unusual, or the odor is too strong, do not hesitate to share this information with your doctor. In this case, sweating can be a symptom of a serious disease.
